Hello old friends. Gathering input on something… im going to bigger axles over the winter and wondering what opinions, good or bad, you may have on a 14 bolt front axle vs 40 spline super 60… my main interest is low pinion vs high and uptravel clearance issues with the center chunk… pricewise they are about the same, going through ecgs…. discuss 💁🏾♂️😆

IF….i were to sell my axles to upgrade to bigger someday, I’m wondering what you experts here would say I could get for my current axle set… probably not going to do it unless i blow something up, but I constantly think of going wider or getting the pr80 rear then running spacers in front. Saw this on Youtube. Broken aluminum knuckle. Burried in the comments is a statement from Rory that it was an "aftermarket" axle with an outstanding recall. Dynatrac, I assume. Anyone running aluminum knuckles? Do the JL or JT axles have them?

Damn nice product. The seem solid and beefy as hell! Very nice not having needle bearings to deal with. Those that have been on the trail with me know what I am talking about... From forming a search party to look for the one that just fell out... To tossing out a NEW u-joint because one slipped down inside the cap and got crushed... I don't think they would work in my rig because I have the hubs in at higher speeds now and then... But they should work well in a trail only rig.

Anyone ever had issues with these things taking 5-10 seconds to shut off? Even with the locker line disconnected. I can turn the switch on for half a second and it takes 5 seconds to shut off again. Just ordered two. I don't see a way to service the internal valve or spring. 100% my luck when it comes to ARB stuff.
