  1. New bumper from Hepta. Will allow me to add a factory hitch when I want to tow the trailer — not going to run it when not towing . Need to remount my chase lights but happy with it so far . Tighter and higher to increase departure and clearance
  2. Did my best Ed imitation and caught some rainbows at Alta Lakes too . Fish tacos !
  3. Random photo dump from 9 days in Colorado . Ran Mineral creek, engineer pass, Poughkeepsie, Hurricane, corkscrew, Ophir, and Imogene . Unfortunately Black Bear pass was closed and likely won’t open this season we were told . Glad we were finally able to get out to this part of CO . Views don’t get old
  4. So … lost a Strider SNG folding knife that I’ve been carrying for 4 or 5 years on the Sierra Trek at camp. Bummed but over it on the hunt for a more affordable folder to carry off-road and camping . tried the following this week: - Benchmade Barrage 580 - Benchmade Mini Barrage 585 - Spyderco Shaman - Steelwill cutback (this is mine for comparison) landed on the Shaman. Blades way thicker and more durable, SV30 better than 154CM, and the mini is just too small . Mini actually nicer than the full size benchmade — wife might keep it . what do people here carry if anything ?
  5. I’m using the 7 pin as well . Just ordered up the curt class 3 receiver . Will be figuring all this out when the bumper arrives in a few weeks
  6. So gonna install the wolf box rear facing camera / mirror this weekend. requires both a hot fuse and an accessory fuse . I was planning on using these piggyback fuse adapters in the stock fuse box. does anyone know which fuses to use in the JK ? Would it be m7 for one of them?
  7. Yah I like where mine is on top now but this one isn’t deep enough on top . Not sure how to mount it behind the bumper but maybe when I see the bumper mounted I’ll have better idea
  8. Guilty of not posting here as often as I should .. favoring the WhatsApp . some updates . got the hepta mnf sliders welded on. First impression these are super beefy . The poison spider sliders I got used from Don did their part for 3 years but if it wasn’t for the skins, I bet I would have damaged the body since they were bent and touching on both sides . Pup (Fury) approves I also found a crack on the inside of my integrated hitch after towing the trailer on the last trip I knew I wasn’t supposed to be towing on this thing and was just playing with fire .. was checking it every time out of the car . So ordered up a hepta mnf bolt on rear bumper that allows use of the oem hitch receiver . Looks like this Brian’s and stand up dude and because I missed the July 4th discount, he is powdercoating this and shipping it to me free . Won’t get here until after the rubicon / fordyce. Need to figure out chase light mounting on the evo tire carrier (Jim checking your set up out ) , and how to mount the 7 pin trailer connector . So far best I’ve found is this Pollak adapter from a photo from that other forum . So that’s my plan . headed to monache meadows this weekend then rubicon with some of y’all the week after . Hell ya California summer
  9. Damn this is sick . Nice work .

Nice photo Ed . Easy with that background though .
  11. Fun weekend camping with the Jeep and trailer up in the eastern sierras . Hit a few alpine lakes and did some dispersed camping up on Owen’s Gorge Road . Jeep feels great . Looking forward to the rubicon / fordyce in august
  12. Lot of long arm bolt on coil over kits going to be on the market soon lol
  13. Think they will look sweet paint matched.
