However the problem with that is where to relocate it . I was thinking something like this could be a good solution. 1 Link to comment

The computer is programmed to a 2018, and the tech ordered all the parts for a 2018 because of this. The actual hardware is from a 2022, and so the parts were different. The correct parts are on national backorder, so. The good news is that there was evidence of the problem, so confidence is high that the correct parts will have it running. As nice as it is, when it works, I wish I would have built an LS with a 4L80, full manual valve body, and been done. That would eliminate the electrical problems. 2 Link to comment
fiend
Is your jeep why bubba says (on IG) that he no longer does conversions involving “used” drivetrains? Or maybe your LT was not used? Link to comment

Jdofmemi
Well..... Mixed reviews. Started Thursday night with a drive to Tulare to go to a meeting. Went great. Friday night, was going to gate crash the Wayalife meet up in Fresno. Made it 15 miles, smelled and saw smoke, pulled over to find engine oil spewing on the exhaust. A sensor with an aftermarket adapter was the source. We called for a ride, got the trailer to go fetch the Jeep, very frustrated by then. Upon investigation, the sensor thread did not match the adapter thread. It had been threaded in about one turn, until it bound up, and with sealant it held, for a while. I was able to tap the aluminum adapter so we could get the sensor fully threaded in to compress the crush washer, and it seems to be holding. The test trip was back on, so up the mountain we went. Jeep runs great. GenRight Elite performs great on the trail, both fast and crawling. After a couple of obstacles, a grinding started so another problem to investigate. Transmission mount was loose, but it couldn't go far, just enough to rub the balance weight on the driveshaft on the cross member. We did a little bit more wheeling then headed home to work on the problems. Fortunately the transmission mount just had loose bolts, but by design they couldn't come out, so getting some loc tight on them and retightening them should do the trick. It's going to take a while to get used to the new set up, and what it is capable of, but it is absolutely a beast! Much more to come later, but for now, we cut the POS EVO sliders off so I can get the body straightened out, armor on, and new Krashfab sliders installed. 4 Link to comment
