White Jeep 2.0

Recommended Posts

Spent half a day today on the White Jeep.

Made a bit of progress. The cage is mostly in.

Because I saved some money with one that had some flaws, there is still some work to do on it. 4 plates to adjust the location of the 4 rear mounts will take care of it.

Had to use Vengeance to drag White Jeep out and back in.

Nice having the forklift. around to put it in!  I used three drunk golfers.

It was handy for sure, especially since there wasn't any help around.

My schedule is whacked, so it's hard to find time to get anything done.

Well, this box of goodness showed up today.

Many thanks to our forum sponsor Matt.

I originally ordered the Atlas for Vengeance, but decided to change it to be configured for White Jeep instead, so it can go in at the same time as the V-8.

I got a 3:1 ratio, as the low gearing in the 10 speed means I don't need to be so low and slow in the T-case.

Whose is whose?   Assuming she is goin go with the Enduro Elite?   Love my PRPs

You are correct.

Kristi gets the Enduro Elite, reclining, with heat. She was the most comfortable in that one when we went to try them out on display.

I wanted more side bolstering than it provides, but not so high it's a PITA to get in and out of.

That, as well as my short stumpy legs, I felt most comfortable in the GT-3, which is really made for the side by side market, but it fits me well, so I went with it.

Now, to get the damn Jeep together.

Bubba has me pushed back to June 5th.

With me working out of town, I am not making much progress, and will probably end up having him do even more to get it finished.

Damn.  Sorry to hear the time Line is slipping.  Patience though.   I never got a chance to try the GT3.  Curious to see how they feel.  I absolutely love the side bolstering but mine are a little tough to get in and out of.

Watching you get in and out was part of my reasoning for these.

I wish I could have gotten it finished in time for Colorado, but there's always next year.

At least I have a Jeep to go with.
