Jdofmemi
What did I say about "unexpected problems"? Why did I utter words like this What's broken now? The transmission mount! The spacer between the transmission housing and the GenRight mount is in two pieces. One more thing to take apart and repair 1 Link to comment

Weebz
Damn Jerry. Starting to get the feeling it would have been far easier to start from scratch! 1 Link to comment

I can’t find this mounting plate that bolts to the GenRight transmission mount to the transmission. The plate looks like a factory part of the transmission. 1 Link to comment

I have said this many times. Hindsight says I should have sold Vengeance before doing too much, bought a stockish 2 door and built it similar, but without dealing with all the EVO disaster. 1 Link to comment

Well, much like the cracked sector shaft, this is another thing easier to fix here than in the middle of nowhere. We are seriously trying not to add anything to the list, and have removed much from it. I just want this done! 1 Link to comment

Their mount is not what broke. It's the piece above it that attached to the transmission. I can't remember if it was part of the original transmission mount, or something else. What I do know is that it will get welded up and problem solved. Long term the extra deep pan is going away, a stock pan back in its place, with a skid under it so the transmission isn't taking the hits like it currently does. 1 Link to comment
BHaner
Doesn't look like the factory mount. Definitely needs some attention. Glad you found it! Link to comment
AJK
Maybe thats a Evo self made tranmission raised correcton bracket IDK. Could you pull it off and attached right to the GR bracket? It's hard to tell from pict but just a thought. Also, where are the rubber isolaters at? I cant find anything remotley close that looks like that bracket. Edit: I ran the Jeep in All Data Pro which list every part that came with the jeep. This is what it shows with an isolater mount. Dont know if this helps at all but doing what I can for ya. Jdofmemi
Another day of forward progress. The broken mount is actually the Advanced Adapters part that comes with the Rubicrawler. It is well made, and keyed together, but I think it died when one or the other of the driveshaft failures happened. Moving forward, we have the steering hooked up, the rebuilt box is back from PSC, and the steering is hooked up. The steering ram is a tight fit, but the custom bracket, and having it push the end of the tie rod instead of the center will make the whole system mush stronger. The bump can mounts are made and going on the frame. The left front is custom fit around the steering box bolts. Limit straps tabs are on, and we have measured for the straps. The driver's side front has to limit the down travel by 2" to keep the driveshaft alive. Full bump is now barely higher than the ride height was when I got it. Full droop, look at those legs! The frame to cage tie in is coming out good. 1 2 Link to comment
AJK
Dammit.......I even checked advance adapters for that bracket and didn't find. Glad you figured it out. 1 Link to comment

Jdofmemi
We got the cage back today. We brought the Jeep back today. We put the two together, and with a few tweaks it lines up. The seats fit in just like they should. Now we can pull it out for paint. 3 Link to comment

Sorry for the brain fog earlier when you guys asked about it. Can you repair yours? Or get a new one from AA? 1 Link to comment

The welder is building it back with a new center piece. He wanted to make it stronger, I said NO, it is a fuse. I would rather break that than the transmission case. 1 1 Link to comment
