Jdofmemi
I've been lacking in getting updates posted. I have gotten the Baja Designs LP-6 lights hooked up. What a difference! The pictures do not do them justice! In the near darkness of the headlights, my awesome camera went to night sight mode and made it appear to be brighter than it was. Oh, and it doesn't help that the headlights are out of adjustment because the plastic buckets are broken, again With the LP-6 lights on, it was so bright, the camera darkened the picture, so it wouldn't be too bright. I also got the Rigid rear chase light wired up. It is pretty awesome as well! I also added the GenRight windshield guards. If done prior to damage, they guard against it. Or, if you do like I did and smash it first, they do a good job of hiding the scars! 2 Link to comment
AJK
That's why I love the Bajas.....Look how good they pierce through the dark and doesn't give you a back shine like cheaper lights. Glad to see you got some good lighting Jerry. 1 Link to comment

Glad to see you got some good lighting Jerry. After getting a chance to use the lights, I am even more impressed with them! At speed on forest roads going the alternative route to Meadow Lake, it was like driving in daylight. The next day, that experience gave me confidence to leave Loon Lake just before dark and run to Rubicon Springs to catch the group to camp with them. The lights are amazing, as with the rebuild of Vengeance. Without pushing it at all, I made it to camp in under 2 hours! Link to comment

I have the LP9s and Squadron pros On the jeep and quite a few on the truck. Baja Designs whore!! I wired the amber backlight on my LP9s into my blinkers so they flash with the blinker. Did it cause they kinda block the blinkers. Link to comment

Hopefully this cures the "Hot Oil" warning whenever I push it a little bit. Link to comment

I have a pretty big one for my engine oil on mine. Red is hot to cooler and blue is return Left gauge is engine oil, center is outside temp, and right is tranny. Cruise is set at 70mph. Don't mind the dust!! 1 Link to comment

Jdofmemi
Well, the recent Big Bear trip went pretty well, but the day was cut short when Ari flopped his JL on an optional line at the John Bull Gatekeeper. On the positive side, the new transmission cooler seemed to fix the heating problem. I flogged it hard all the way up, while last trip it only took 5 minutes of hard driving to overheat the transmission. On the down side, while the solenoid problem seemed to be solved and the ARBs worked, for the first 3 obstacles, then the compressor quit working. I figured it blew another fuse, as that has been common. When I checked, both fuses were good, the connections all seemed to be right, and when I would plug and unplug the pressure switch, I could hear the relay click, but no action from the compressor. This is the 4th one on Vengeance since I bought it 4 years ago In spite of that, I was still able to do all but the most extreme lines. The other thing I found was the sway bar decided it has had enough of taming the 16" travel coilovers in the rear, and snapped at the bend, right near the bushing. 1 Link to comment
BHaner
I have had nothing but problems with my ARB pressure switches. I switched to one I found on Amazon and haven't had issues since. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TWY48M6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It had gotten so bad that I installed a low pressure light like you have in a truck.... Almost wanted to do a wig-wag. 1 1 Link to comment
Jdofmemi
I have an off brand one now. It may be the problem, but I also have a new wire harness and switches. I am hoping to switch to pure air switches instead of the electric solenoid valves. I also got a pressure gauge to bring in to the dash. I checked the one in the link, and it is out of stock. Summit shows it, but 3 weeks out. I may try a local industrial supply place for a quality option. Link to comment

I changed my pressure switch out to a #135-#150 version, but it may not be the best quality. Link to comment
