The top and bottom plate are fine.

The welder is building it back with a new center piece.

He wanted to make it stronger, I said NO, it is a fuse. I would rather break that than the transmission case.

That's smart.

It is a stock sport T-case with an Advanced Adapters Rubicrawler.

Gives the option for 2.72 low range (stock) or 7.40 with both cases in low.

2wd low range, which I use a LOT, but no separate front or rear drive like an Atlas.

That's OK, since I don't need to be doing front digs with the Dana 44 front anyway.

Well, it was on the last trip.

I assume it will work just as good when we put it back in. 🤞

Yeah, I need to get one since the other hippies only run GMRS. SMH.

Getting closer!

Does the roof you are making fit under the top?

Yes, unless I made a mistake somewhere.

The GenRight cage is designed to fit under a hard or soft top.

The gap between the roof and windshield frame gets the removable filler plate, so the top can latch.

I think you need to pull the whole top for a hard top, as the freedom panels wouldn't be able to latch in.

The front of the back piece also needs to attach.  The cage has provisions for this.

I wouldn't ever run a hard top on this one, but might still on the White Jeep.

Thanks!

That upper link is the weak link due to the way I built it, and I've seen a few of them bend or break there.

The doubler plate strengthens it, plus gives the hole a fighting chance to stay round longer.

How much do you have left?   Roof looks great.

Close now.

Paint, bedline the interior, put brake lines, transmission lines, and steering lines together, then reassemble things.

Ods and ends after that, like limit straps.

If nothing unexpected happens, it will be done in time.
