It is. I posted farther back in the thread the illustration. It is partially their JK Extreme kit, but customized. Once these are in, I can figure out the lengths for the control arms to get custom built. Link to comment
BHaner
The hideousness of the underside of that Jeep will haunt my dreams forever. I may start tossing around the term trail raisin... 3 Link to comment

Well…I used those quick bite hard flex line fuel lines. Forget the actual name of them. If I remember right I had to merge the soft lines to these which I used some small pieces of flex line, solid lime and the hard flex with a few band clamps. 2 Link to comment

Jdofmemi
No pics, but I spent a few hours today removing the factory cross member and prepping the frame to weld on the brackets. Next time will be to weld the brackets, and fit the skid plate. Well, after I extract the broken bolt from the gas tank mount. That is one of the holes used for the skid plate. 2 Link to comment

Jdofmemi
Still no pictures, but some will be coming. It seems a little fire got me off track. I did get all 4 frame side brackets fully welded on. I'm concerned about the skid plate. It appears that I would have to cut too much of the factory LCA mount off the rear for it to fit. I can't do that until I get the links ready, so for the upcoming trip I may just put a plate over the transfer case to protect it. Still a lot to do. Mainly getting the fuel pump and wiring sorted, but also the front left upper control arm needs built, as the exhaust won't have room until the factory UCA mount is removed. Then the exhaust can be sorted out. It is still a lot of work, and time is running short. 2 1 1 Link to comment

Jdofmemi
I made some more progress tonight, though it almost feels like 2 steps forward and three back. The cross members are bolted in, except for one course thread nut in the bag of fine thread I mocked up the skid plate, and trimmed the rear LCA mounts so it would fit. I was worried it wouldn't, so that's a relief. Now for the good part. The front two holes line up. The other eight........ not even close. Since I have no directions, I'm not sure, but I know I can make it work one way or another. I can't see any way to get the exhaust pipe on the driver's side to fit unless I cut the factory upper mount off. I'm going to be near the metal supply store tomorrow and Friday, so maybe I can get what I need to build the control arms. I took measurements and will just go with DOM so I can cut them to length. That, then exhaust, and plumbing the fuel system. 1 1 Link to comment

Jdofmemi
Well, I put in another long day. I got the front links installed, and the old brackets cut off. I kept the original upper on the axle end, and sleeved it into the DOM. See attached pictures, I ground the powder coating off so it would be a slip fit, and I cut two slots to plug weld the inside. This keeps it from flexing and cracking the weld at the end. I also drilled and tapped the holes for the skid plate. Tomorrow I plan on starting on the rear links. Hopefully that goes well, and then on to exhaust and fuel system. 1 Link to comment

Jdofmemi
Hustling to get "finished" in time. If I can get the steel for the bridge bent, I will be able to put the rear 4 link together as well. Fuel line came in, so I can plumb the tank in. It's wired now. Still have to build the exhaust, and I am wrapping up the tailgate and tire carrier. That will make it so the tools don't fall out, and the welder has a secure spot. 3 1 Link to comment
