It may be my kickstand. If so, it needs to be strong. 

. besides, it's what I had laying around that was the right size, plus, since it had to get pushed back 7 " to clear the fuel cell, it will have more load on it. 

 

Should be ready, though it will be close. 

With luck, I will get the rear 4 link done as well.

Rear axle bridge is bent up. 

 

It's longer than needed, I will cut it to fit. 

 

Once I get the fuel and exhaust done, if I have time before the trip, I can get the 4 link done.

Progress

 

This was a bitch to build. 

 

Not the prettiest work, but it's not ever going back to SEMA.

Upper links built and installed. 

 

On to the lowers. 

 

Have to cut off the axle brackets to put the new ones on. 

 

Getting closer. 

 

I decided to finish it, so when I get there it's ready to rock, instead of half done.

Anyone who's wheeled with me in Vengeance had seen me frustrated with my rock anchors otherwise know as lower control arm mounts. 

 

No More!

 

Now you see them, now you don't. 

 

One more bracket and the 4 link will be finished. 

 

So much more clearance!

Fuel system finished (I think)

 

 

 

After a couple of cycles of the pump, the engine fired and I don't see any leaks

 

 

 

Now to get the exhaust piped to at least the middle. 

 

 

 

Maybe this will go better than the fuel.

Cover is installed, tire is in. 

 

Not much room left for cargo now. 

 

No camping trips in this Jeep. 

 

Still a few things to tidy up tomorrow before I leave.

Update:

 

After a small problem with the fuel system, we discovered there is no fuel return line, rather a vent line, and if you hook it to the tank, it causes problems. 

 

After sorting that problem out, Vengeance is back to running good, and the new suspension is performing!

No more rock anchors, no more thank and cross member hanging down, and. Away more stable feeling 

 

Oh, and the ARB compressor decided to quit, so we now have a new one installed.

I got a long overdue addition installed. 

 

An oil pan skid plate. I have bashed the pan twice without putting a hole in it. I didn't want to tempt fate a third time. 

 

It made a good excuse to do an oil change also. Not due by miles, but with trailering most places, the use has been hard, so I'm sure it was due.

Winter mode engaged. 

 

I added a Besttop cab cover and the wrap around behind the seats, so the front is separated from the back, mostly. 

 

I also hung the original full doors in preparation for a snow run. 

 

Parked next to Dennis. His Nice Little Jeep makes Vengeance look like a poor step child. 

 

Next is loaded up ready to head out for a snow run 8n the morning.

Got one of these uniballs ordered for the front upper link on the axle end. 

 

This should take care of the axle wrap I have with the factory bushing.

I had to reclaim the front lower control arms Vengeance has been borrowing from White Jeeps parts stash, so I finished building the DOM arms and swapped them out today.
