The value of building a relationship with a good company:

Tony (GenRight owner) hunted through storage for me to find me a loaner pair of used 14" coilovers to use until the ones I have on order finally show up from King.

Longer legs for the rear just in time for Colorado 👍👍👍

Thats so awesome and thats why I love them guys. Good group of peeps at Genright.

RTI ramp scores and explanation, copied from the group chat:

So, I did both sides forward, and only left side in reverse.

Best score was left side up going forward. 1318

Right side up forward was slightly less, 1250
I attribute the difference to no passenger. The added weight on the left helped compress the suspension more.

The rear left was "only" 1195.
Driver weight was on the wrong corner to help, plus rear spring weights are all wrong.

Next time I will get to see the difference after corrections are made.

I think I was barely over 1100 last year on the left front.

I’ve never done an RTI.   Woud love to see how how we all do.  Any local shops in CO have one so we can play?

Maybe.

I like doing it as it provides a measurable and repeatable score, do you can track what happens when you make changes.

While you can use a rock to check clearances and "feel", having something to compare to from one time to another it good.

If it works who cares!

Now if it falls off on the trail... Then we might need to have a talk about your vehicles extended warranty or something...

Hmmmm........

It seems 6 3/8" bolts MAY not be enough to hold up to a steady diet of Jerry lines.

A start on the repairs.

A shot of the badly bent coilovers.

First drill and EZ out the broken bolts. My right angle M-12 drill may be my new favorite.

Then, install the new ARP bolts, 30% stronger than the grade 8 I had.

I am also going to add a support to the pinion housing, and possibly 2 more bolts on each side.

Plus, I am cleaning up the axle of the original brackets so I can complete the outboarding of the coilovers.

I am nervous about cutting any of the side of the tub, as EVO already cut the entire structure of the floor out. If I cut the side, it may break in half😱

Working on prepping for the Rubicon and Fordyce run.

Dennis is helping me get the last things done.

My new 14" King coilovers are in, and the rear driveshaft is rebuilt and back in.

We mounted the radio that Dave recommended

https://www.radioddity.com/products/radioddity-qb25-pro-mini-mobile-radio-cable-cd-50w-high-gain-antenna

In limited testing it seems to work good.

Mounting the rest of the GenRight rear brackets for the coilovers and sway bar.

After the trip, we will work on outboarding the coilovers, getting rid of another bad idea from the original EVO build.

We pulled the seats, cleaned things up and found a cancerous rust hole in the driver's side floor.

It's temporarily patched with flex seal. 👍

Just a few more details to finish up tomorrow and we should be ready to roll.

One more long day with the help of Dennis, and Vengeance is on the trailer, ready to go to the Rubicon and Fordyce trip.

I finished the lower rear mounts, and then had to move the sway bar so it will not bind or over extend.

Dennis had some new adjustable links he let me use.

Toe in is adjusted, and we discovered a crack in the frame in front of the steering box mount so I ground it out and welded it up.

ARB line to the rear is spliced together where it got broke, and no leaks.

We spent some time adjusting the new coilovers to get the ride height right, and the Jeep leveled.

All in all, I think it's ready for the next adventure.

After this trip, the factory "cage" is coming out, and the GenRight cage is going in.
