Borla cat back exhaust system

Start from the rear on the benefits of the Borla exhaust system, this system removes the muffler and tail pipe from the rear of the Jeep.
 

this picture is upside down, but you can see where it really cleans up the undercarriage leaving the muffler exposed I had a skid plate Custom made for this muffler. I don’t care for the full belly skid plates. 

  

  
Really nice thing is the Y pipe is behind the transmission crossmember removing the exhaust pipe going across the transmission pan. This keeps the transmission fluid cooler.

 

  

 Looking at these pictures you can really see the difference between the old stock exhaust system and the new system, of course it’s stainless steel; who doesn’t love stainless steel.

This section right here needs to be customized, this pipe is below the transmission pan, and on my jeep this needs to be taken to a custom muffler shop to have it fixed/Customize    
what the pipe looks like after  Fordyce.

My muffler is in perfect shape with the help of a skid plate.

Stainless steel skid plate for new Cat, back Borla exhaust system, the new muffler location on the driver’s side under rear passenger seat. Welded new tabs on existing transfer case skid, mount at vapor canister skid, and nut threads welded into the frame on the side. 2015 Jeep

My buddy that did all the welding on suspension and frame helped me fabricated the skid plate. really he did most of the work. I had a couple of inputs here and there turned out pretty good. There’s some suggestions that we can make on the next one that that can make skid plate a little stiffer.
