BHaner
Clock spring replacement solved all the issues! Cruise control is back and the airbag light is no longer on and dinging every time I turn right. Was an easy replacement. Even with the wrong steering wheel puller. I think it only took me 30 minutes. I picked up the Harbor Freight puller but it only works with wheels that have threads. The JK wheels have no threads. You need to use j-hooks. This puller would work: https://www.amazon.com/Powerbuilt-647088-Steering-Wheel-Puller/dp/B004KEHDPC/ref=sr_1_63?crid=1BO8ADF01GP3R&keywords=steering+wheel+puller&qid=1666626518&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI1LjI4IiwicXNhIjoiNC43MiIsInFzcCI6IjQuNTcifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=steering+wheel+pulle%2Caps%2C154&sr=8-63 This puller will not: https://www.harborfreight.com/steering-wheel-remover-set-63685.html Here is a video showing the procedure. I used this replacement clock spring from Crown: https://www.morris4x4center.com/crown-clockspring-5156106ad.html 3 Link to comment
