Communication headset rugged radios vs pci radios

Ok does anyone have any input which is better?  I can’t hear the radio currently and don’t have a music radio so these will do everything I need.  Does anyone have pros or cons versus each

No experience with either, but PCI is a smaller local based company who spent years developing and supporting the Baja racers. 

 

Rugged seems to be corporate deep pockets, and recently displaced PCI, with a lot of dissatisfied racers complaining about the deal. 

 

I would rather spend my $$ with the locals than to aid the corporate machine.

PCI from my understanding is the leader in the industry and Rugged has gotten very popular. I don't think you can go wrong with either one but if I were to do headsets I'd most likely go PCI.

We’ll I called both up and for apples to apples using stuff on sale I got a rugged radio setup for less than half price.

 

did the headsets, blue tooth, gmrs etc and was just over 1k where pci was 2300

I kept looking at it that I can’t hear anything and no radio it’s a pretty good deal for me as a stereo was going to be at least $750

If anyone wants a radio to do both ham and gmrs, I've heard this vendor is good.
