I'm pretty impressed with your homemade dimple die! Handy having a lathe to whip up things like that. 1 Link to comment
BHaner
Decided to check all my wheel bearings to make sure things were in order... Everything looked OK but whoever did them last didn't put any grease in the area between the bearings. So that could have gone badly after a little road time. Had a little issue removing the rear diff pan. Apparently rocks are abrasive... Hot nut! 14 bolt steering axle seals. Failure was in the thread sealant as far as I could tell. Not enough goopy! Back together with the stickies on. 2 3 Link to comment
BHaner
Next project was something I found on TikTok. The Milwaukee Packout system! Cooler and tool box that locks into a plate that just happens to fit in the area I had available. Bonus it came from AJK Offroad! Alan! Why didn't you tell us you had an offroad shop??!? 1 2 Link to comment
AJK
Nice. I'm working on hubs as well. As for the Milwaukee mount are you still going to run a tie strap or you going to allow Faith to determine if that holds? Lol, I was looking at the hot nut going that is an odd drain plug. Nice work. Link to comment

The determining factor will be if they make noise. I also thought about putting some rubber between them. That will pre-load them a little and may be all that is needed. Link to comment
AJK
I don't use that rack mount but I do stack two Milwaukee cases on top of each other that are foam insulated and they make zero noise. One has my impact guns and Battery and the other has all my sockets and tools with like a blanket in there and it keeps everything quiet and doesn't allow it to move around. Link to comment
Weebz
Byron is damn near ready! Makes me jealous. Looks great man and thanks for the push on the pack out system. Link to comment

Slowing plugging along... I think I have most of the big stuff completed. Down to oil/coolant changes... Fixing the roof... Hoping that it all works and it hasn't been a huge waste of time and money... Link to comment
Weebz
Na. I’m sure you got the bugs all worked out. Link to comment

Dennis has been pushing for me to get these. Seems like a good idea, just more $$. I probably will, but maybe not in time for the Sand Hollow trip Link to comment

I probably will, but maybe not in time for the Sand Hollow trip Home Depot was under $200 for the cooler and 10" tool box. The mount was $117. You could save a bunch there but I liked the way this one fit. I have a $300+ Yeti that takes up the whole space leaving me with no room for tools. So I guess it could save some $$$ there.
