Blades… and other sharp things

So … lost a Strider SNG folding knife that I’ve been carrying for 4 or 5 years on the Sierra Trek at camp.  Bummed but over it 

 

on the hunt for a more affordable folder to carry off-road and camping . 
 

tried the following this week: 

- Benchmade Barrage 580

- Benchmade Mini Barrage 585

- Spyderco Shaman 

- Steelwill cutback (this is mine for comparison) 

 

landed on the Shaman.  Blades way thicker and more durable, SV30 better than 154CM, and the mini is just too small .  Mini actually nicer than the full size benchmade — wife might keep it . 

 

what do people here carry if anything ?

I’ve had a benchmade for a decade…I don’t even remember what model…
