I had hoped to bring it to work with me, but ongoing struggles with finishing our move kept me from my Jeep garage over the weekend. As much as I would Like to get out before then I probably won’t get into 4low for a couple weeks. 1 Link to comment
Savage90
In case anyone is wondering on the weight of a set of ford axles. ford front 04 and older 60: 552lbs rear sterling 10.5: 473lbs my dynatracs weigh in at the following front ProRock: 600lbs rear ProRock 80: 480lbs (I think This one might be wrong) but too late to weigh it again. I’ll try and find the pictures I took to confirm. I’ll say that the front had a full truss and full hydro skid plate welded to it at the time of its weigh in. So it may be more in the 550lb range without the extra metal. also since we are talking about weight parts. A hero 3 speed transfercase comes in around 160lbs 3 Link to comment
fiend
Do you still have the Hero case? Link to comment

I do I’ll be adding this as soon as I have The confidence to build my own center console for the 3 sticks. also the floor may have to get massaged for it to fit. 1 1 1 Link to comment

I'm nearby and owe you for those inserts. By the way, your rig looks top notch. Better in person than I thought from some of the grainy pictures you posted earlier. 2 1 Link to comment

It usually has some gaps, and needs filler pieces cut to be able to tie in properly. If the top gaps and the gaps in the center holes are not filled, the bracket flexes and eventually breaks. Again, no judgement, as I can't see if it was done, just trying to make sure you don't have future problems. Checked it out more now that it’s home. these rear brackets are a newer version than what I have Seen in the past. So looks like it’s easier to weld the full bracket. both mine have been completely welded at the top. 1 Link to comment

Savage90
A few things for me to do now that she is home. No particular order -tire carrier -A pillar lights -rear dust lights -Lux rock lights -tuner install for tire size and gear ratio. -new brake pads and caliper bolts (the caliper bolts are all bent) -front sway bar -relocate rear coilover reservoirs -install rear swaybar in correct location -find an install a cage and lastly, which will probably be the first thing I do Is build new drag link. for whatever reason the EVO one I have Is an inch too short. So a little worried about how many threads are showing on the hiem joint. Picture included. 2 Link to comment

Hopefully not, but worth checking. Link to comment

Savage90
Good thing I’m going to relocate the rear coilover reservoirs. Not only to move the sway bar but i found out today the hose on the driver side is pinched. This is my fault since I asked for them to be installed there:/ Link to comment
