Jetlau3
Just got back last night from running Barrett Lake and the Rubicon with the group . Fingers crossed last on the stock axles . Upgrades since last year include the Artec track bar bracket (that Don helped me weld on), the color matched RR half doors, soft top, and nemesis fenders from Kevin . Rig performed great. The narrower fenders stayed out of the rocks mostly and drove home with no issues . Wife had a wonderful time driving and ended up wheeling half of Barrett and days 1 and 3 on the ‘Con 2 3 Link to comment
KevinG
Nice pics! It's been ten years since I've been on the Rubicon, but it's crazy how pictures can bring back the memories. Glad the Jeep did well! Link to comment
Jetlau3
Thanks to Jerry and Alan for spending Saturday helping with me with phase 1 of the axle swap . We managed to get the PSC and big bore installed (minus the ram) and were able to regear the front fusion axle . 4:88 vs 5:38 had to clearance the air box . think this is what we ended up with front back together . still lots left for another weekend but Jeep turns a lot better even without the ram . Learned a lot this weekend . Thanks guys 6 Link to comment

Dave
I was wondering if you'd done the axle swap and hydro yet. Looks like you're well under way. I've got the PSC kit and progrip brakes on the floor of my garage. Still window shopping axles/gearing options. I'll get around to it someday. 2 Link to comment

Jetlau3
Threw in the towel and decided to let a shop finish off the regear and axle swap. Decided on All Terrain Garage in Rialto. Picked the rig back up today and we’re almost done. They did a flex test with a fork lift and added an inch of bump to the front and the rear to prevent rubbing on the nemesis fenders . synergy track bar brace was rubbing on the coil perch so they trimmed reclocked the brace on the track bar to clear the control arm mount and turned a bolt around to clear the PSC clearanced the skid plate to not bind with the new skid 1350 JE reel drive shaft I just got built to replace the 1310 Only thing that is left to do is to plumb the lockers . I ordered up an A pillar switch panel, a pressure valve, and some new solenoids . Picked up a manifold from Jerry. also ATG said the front axle we just regeared has a small leak so need to order a new axle seal from Fusion and swap in . should be ready for a shake down run in a few weeks . Excited 1 1 Link to comment

Jetlau3
Thanksgiving question for the group ::: where to list my stock axles and for how much ? 2015 Rubicon 44 takeoffs front : Evo c gussets, sleeves, Yukon chromoly shafts, Dynatrac pro grips, artec track bar bracket, synergy tie rod, rare parts 2.5 ton drag link, Dynatrac ball joints (newish), evo 3” bump stops rear: revolution chromoly shafts, evo rockstar skids, aev rear diff slider, Dynatrac pro grips would include 1310 JE Reel front driveshaft . I’ve seen sets of varying builds listed for between $3 and 6k on Facebook marketplace . overall decent condition on everything . Slight 1/2 spline twist on front passenger chromoly shaft . No other known damage Link to comment
fiend
FB marketplace. Also there are several Jeep parts groups on FB. You can cross list in all of them. Could also try CL. I recently saw a set listed for $5300. So aim high. You can always come down. Post back when you sell. I’ll be putting mine up (PR44 front) and would be interested to see what you get. 2 Link to comment

Slightly higher rpm’s on highway . No noticeable affect of gas mileage yet but I’ve been driving under 60 mph so prob not apples to apples comparison. so far so good . really looking forward to wheeling with the new gearing, wider stance, and the PSC after the break in and lockers are done 1 Link to comment

Depends on how bad you want to get rid of them or if your ok holding out. You can start out higher but if you don't get bites or offers be prepared to drop the price. Link to comment

Jetlau3
Listed for $4200 on FB marketplace and some groups . I’m not in any hurry to get rid of them .. if they don’t sell I’ll lower price. If they really don’t sell I’ll get off my ass and maybe clean them up and take some better photos. 3 Link to comment

You shouldn’t have a problem getting that at all. It took less than two days to sell mine and I got top dollar asking price. I’ve also had people messaging me off and on if I know of anyone selling their axles. On a side note, you posted some great photos from your last trips. Jeep looks great. Link to comment
Jetlau3
Listed yesterday . Sold today for $3500 cash . Sold the stock steering box for $125. Could have gotten $4000 I think but wanted them gone before it rained and I have rusting axles in my driveway . 3 Link to comment

Jetlau3
Finally done (minus small leak) . All Terrain Garage finished the locker plumbing, added an inch of bump stop in the front (4 inches now), installed the a-pillar switch and manifold system from JK innovations, redid alignment and brought caster up to 5.5 degrees, and serviced both diffs after break in period . Jeep drives better than it has since it was stock . Tracks straight at 80 mph with the higher caster . No driveline vibes . still not 100% sure what’s going on with the front axle seal . Dan from fusion gave me the part number and we ordered up 2 of the seals but shop said they were too small. I think it’s possible that because I went with the 10” super 60 ring gear in the front, that the master install kit may have come with inner seals that are different ? Still not sure. anyway they weren’t able to get the leak fixed so still a very slow leak from the front left axle shaft . will figure this out at some point but for now excited to get wheeling . heading down to Baja for a 8 night trip between Christmas and new years and hitting La Bufadora, San Felipe, Bahai de Los Angeles, Guerra Negro, and Valle de Guadalupe . Towing the trailer we got from Ed! 1 Link to comment
