Jdofmemi
I had to rotate a tire out today, and thought I would post a short clip of how I get the heavy ass tire up by myself without causing a hernia. I learned this method of loading tires and such long ago, and it works pretty good. It may not work as well for a vertical tire carrier, but it will get it up enough to get a better angle on things. 1 1 Link to comment

KevinG
at first I thought I was watching a snuff film. Good timing though, I am going to be doing a rotation tomorrow. 1 Link to comment
Dave
Smart idea. I can barely lift my 35s onto the tire carrier by myself. I've been worried about how I'm going to get a 37 on there. You need to leave one tire off to use this method though. Link to comment
Gruff
Cool method. Gets the tire off the ground to lifting height without using your back. I saw guys doing this at a truck garage once. Why don't we start a stickie thread section where videos like these can all go together? 1 Link to comment
BaddestCross
Weird that there is no thumbnail of the video in the post though. Wonder if that's a setting that can be activated? Link to comment

fiend
I like it Jerry. If you’re using a vertical tire mount maybe flip the tire over so when it rolls up you can tip it onto the mount without having to flip it over. Just an idea, haven’t tried it myself. Link to comment

I learned it from a mechanic I worked with when I was 18 2 Link to comment

Mlanoswkijoseph
At work we tend to have the back of the wheel facing us and pull it up onto our legs lifting the wheel fairly easily by having your legs support the majority of the weight. Link to comment
