Weebz
And when it’s freezing and the cold steel takes all warmth away you chest and put it on your heat vents to warm it up. 1 2 Link to comment
Weebz
Got some priming done (where I can without impacting weld areas). 2 Link to comment
Weebz
After all that decided it was time to make room for the towers. I positioned both towers on the frame while on the ground and marked their outside positions. Reinstalled both frame rails on the jeep and used my trusty laser level to transfer everything onto the tub. 1 Link to comment
Weebz
Came out pretty damn good. Not sure if I need to heighten the cutout until I get the struts in place and see how much room I need. 2 1 1 Link to comment
JKBrick
Is it two different companies or why is the tower wider? Link to comment

JKBrick
Is the new frame wider for the towers or why do you replace it? Link to comment

Weebz
Little progress over the last two days. Short on some pictures as it’s pretty tough with no hands other than my own to document. Got the front cross member bolted in, tough I know. Once I had it there I could bolt the rear cross member to the skid to locate its position on the frame to weld it up. 1 1 Link to comment
Weebz
Once done there I mocked the rear link brackets to make sure all was playing nice and it looks good. Before I weld them in place I wanted to weld up the towers and set the strut tabs. 2 Link to comment
Weebz
Tomorrow hopefully will see the link brackets welded in open up the tub more for the struts and cut in the fuel tank opening. From there the rear axle goes back under and I wait in Heims to start setting everything in place. Link to comment
