Worth a peek Yes…they see in color…in fact, we use certain colors as a “trigger” to entice a strike, like orange (color of roe) or red (gills)…UV is also used…the body chenille of these streamers have fibers that light up under uv light 1 Link to comment

That particular 25” rainbow was caught on a orange bead in Alaska on a 6wt fly rod…the sockeye salmon were in the middle of a spawn, and the trout were ignoring everything that didn’t look like a salmon egg… Link to comment
