When he filmed Mutiny on the Bounty back in the sixties here, he fell in love with his Tahitian costar…and had several children with her. He petitioned the French gov’t to sell the island to him at a ridiculously low price (I believe it was around $250K)…he is the only fly fishing guide here, and only takes one client per day… 1 1 Link to comment
