6wt Posted November 19, 2022 Author Share Posted November 19, 2022 Well, throwing a 12wt for a couple hours is mighty tough…but getting two big GT’s to crash the poppers is heart attack stuff…unfortunately both cut off on coral heads. I did manage a nice bluefin trevally on the 10wt…lost two big aha (houndfish) on the same rod. Link to comment

My godson was there , visiting from OR…I hadn’t seen him in 10 years, he’s my oldest daughter’s age. I told him I would teach him how to fly fish today on the flats…which means he’s carrying my gear & spare rod… 1 Link to comment
